Our selection of natural skin toners contains a variety of powerful and proven high-quality ingredients to help you get the skin you're after. A toner has many functions, and is more than just a way to get cleaner skin. It consists of some pretty powerful components that help adjust pH, close pores, increase cell turnover, nourish and protect.

But what does each ingredient in a toner actually do?

Acetic Acid
Also known more commonly simply as vinegar. It acts as an antibacterial as well as an anti-fungal while keeping skin's pH adjusted.

Use a toner with acetic acid if you have normal skin.

Soy Extract
Works well with combination skin because it has the ability to moisturize only the areas that need it. In studies, soy isoflavone aglycone has been shown to reduce the signs of aging.

A toner with soy extract is best for combination and ageing skin.

Related to blueberries & cranberries, these have similar antioxidant benefits to help guard against free radicals. This fruit is also high in vitamins and has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of illnesses when eaten.

Use a toner with bilberries to nourish and restore skin.

Tea Tree Oil
A natural anti-fungal and anti-viral, tea tree oil is capable of treating everything from dandruff to insect bites.

A toner with tea tree oil is ideal for acne-prone skin but can be used with any skin type.

Contains a mixture of enzymes proven to be very effective at removing dead skin. This mixture, referred to as bromelain, is also capable of reducing swelling and discomfort associated with mosquito bites.

Use a toner with pineapple extract to improve skin texture and reduce the signs of aging.

Vitamin C
Stimulates collagen production to combat the signs of aging. It has long been used as an effective ingredient to correct fine lines and uneven skin tone to create a more youthful appearance.

A toner containing vitamin c is ideal for all skin types.
