Detoxifying Charcoal & Clay Mask with DMAE

Charcoal Mask
This powder mask is an extremely powerful treatment for all skin types. From Acne prone to Dry, from Sun damaged and tough to Sensitive and delicate, everyone can use this mask!  We have packed this powdered mask with all of the most important ingredients to support healthy, clear, glowing skin. All you do is add the liquid component of your choice (see list), mix and apply!  By selling this mask in powdered form, it allows for instant customization to the individual on a level that is difficult to do in a non-clinic setting.

First, a little about the mask itself:

Montmorillonite (French Green) Clay, Activated Charcoal, Allantoin (5-ureidohydantoin) Zinc Oxide, Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Ester), Spirulina maxima (Organic Blue Green Algae) Powder, Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE), Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree) Essential Oil
The natural detoxification of clay and charcoal combined with the soothing powers of zinc and tea tree oil make this masque a must for all problematic skin types.
French Green Clay is used at the finest resorts and spas for facial masks and full-body skin detoxification.  It is a powerful 100% natural, bio-organic material.  Produced from quarries in France, it is mineral-rich in healing micro nutrients, and anti-oxidants for the skin.

Activated Charcoal helps keep skin clear by acting like a magnet to draw dirt out of pores.

Topical treatments of zinc oxide help to heal wounds including acne and other skin irritations. The body requires zinc for the synthesis of collagen, which is consequently responsible for the healing of wounds. Zinc Oxide also has subtle astringent properties and acts as a skin drying agent. It controls inflammations and relieves the skin against irritations and rashes. It helps to heal acne blemishes, reduce inflammations and control the androgenic hormonal effects on skin that contribute to acne breakouts.

Vitamin C Ester
Many skincare products contain antioxidants, however, sometimes they can be irritants such as vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid.  What few people know is that there are two forms of vitamin C – water-soluble and fat-soluble – with distinctly different properties.
Fat-soluble vitamin C ester
Unlike the ascorbic acid form, fat-soluble vitamin C ester realizes this essential nutrient’s full potential as an anti-aging agent. It displays greater antioxidant activity in our cells than ascorbic acid does, and performs this vital work at lower doses. In fact, compared with ascorbic acid, vitamin C ester delivers 8 times higher levels of vitamin C activity.
And because vitamin C ester can reside in our cells' fatty membranes, it continuously regenerates the vitamin E depleted by that fat-soluble antioxidant’s ongoing fight against free radicals.
Vitamin C ester also possesses superior ability to stimulate growth of the cells (fibroblasts) that help produce collagen and elastin, the strands of tissue that give the skin its strength and flexibility.

DMAE may be the first agent proven in a study to have at least some positive effect on facial sag.
What is DMAE and what does it do anyway? DMAE is a short for dimethylaminoethanol, a naturally occurring substance that facilitates the synthesis of a neurotransmitter acetylcholine. DMAE also may stimulate the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, an important component of cell membranes.

Tea tree oil treats acne and other skin conditions

Superb for all skin types, the mask is an excellent natural exfoliant that will leave the skin soft, and cleansed of dirt, bacteria, oils and harmful toxins.  After the treatment your pores will appear tighter, the skin will be exfoliated, and the tone/texture revitalized with a youthful glow.

This 1 oz jar of powdered mask yields approximately 5-8 treatments to be done once a week.

This is a great mask! I highly recommend it, it leaves my skin so soft and clean lol. What I love most is that it's customizable, although Apple cider vinegar doesn't smell that good, that's my favorite mix. So in love with these products a must buy!

After just one application, I'm in love with this mask! I'm a greasy girl who lives in the very humid South, so I mixed it with organic apple cider vinegar ( with a drop of lavender essential oil under my nose to make the smell more tolerable ). It makes your skin like velvet and completely dries out any pimples.
You really just need about 1/2 a Tbsp mask/liquid. I also just recently purchased Skin Obsession's tea tree & vinegar toner and will mix a mask up with that as my liquid.
