Yes it is definitely not a "gentle" acne treatment but if you can handle the peeling for a few days you will see better skin. I had a ton of bumps on my forehead that I thought were destined to be there forever, I even tried Retin-A for months! One week using Acne Stop and they are history. I've also used it to spot treat some cysts and they are on their way out, flattening and fading. Stubborn blackheads on my nose are shrinking, pores are looking smaller, my skin is glowing. This is better than a TCA peel I tried from another company. I will continue to use this and update my results, I expect great things!

I've Tried everything. I dont have horrible skin, but I do have hormonal breakouts like most woman. I have had back acne for years and FINALLY I FOUND A PRODUCT THAT CLEARED IT UP. With free shipping this is a no brainer-buy this stuff! This Product would be very well suited for guys who have face & body acne too.

Best natural treatment for clogged pores	November 5, 2012

I suffered from cystic acne for about 2-3 years in my early twenties. I first bought this product at some stage as i was trying to find treatments for my cystic lesions that worked. I found that even though this helped, it didnt get rid of the cystic acne. I ended up taking long term antibiotics, and then using topical retinoid cream and peroxide, which bleached everything i own, much to my horror and disappointment - all my beautiful towels :(

My cystic acne is now a thing of the past, hard to say what made it go away. And now i actually use the acne stop that i pulled out of my bathroom cabinet! It helps with my blackheads and clogged pores, and is helping even out my skin tone from all the past acne i have experienced, and it reduces the oiliness. But prepare yourself - it really stings!

I used to hate spot treatments because they took forever to work. So i stopped buying them. I bought this because of the lactic acid ingredient and I wanted a gentle peel. This was the best spot treatment I ever used, it really got all the dirt & oil off my skin, and my face is glowing. also helped remove dead skin. Im glad I took the chance.

This is a bit of a hard review to write because I had a mixed experience.

I have very oily, cystic acne prone skin, with years of benzoyl peroxide damage, large pores, and lots of acne scars.

This product gave me the best improvement I've seen in my skin prior to using it. The problem is that it dried my skin out so badly that it ached. I always flaked for a week after I used it.

I tried reducing my usage to once a week (was using it every three days at first), and then once every 10 days. Same thing.

For someone who could never use a moisturizer for fear of turning into an oil slick ten minutes later, this was weird. I've since moved on to experimenting with everything from Glycolic Acid to TCA peels, and I think that the problem was that my skin didn't tolerate the alcohol base very well.

So it's not that Acne Stop was a bad product for me, I did in fact see improvement, I just couldn't tolerate the alcohol base.

I've suffered from hormonal acne since I was a teen. Now I'm 22 and still struggling. I came across this product and figured it was worth a shot. I experienced a lot of stinging (worse then I did with my first chemical peel) but like the peel, fanning my face helped a lot until the stinging passed. The alcohol smell is also quite strong and would often make me start coughing when I applied the product around my nose. But all of this was expected. The results from this product are the best I've ever experienced. My only reason for giving 4 stars is because my birth control is working against this product so I still have some breakouts, but nothing as severe as what I had experienced before this product. Would definitely recommend this to all acne sufferers.

I've used this product for about 2 weeks and ALL of my acne is gone. i have no white heads OR blackheads. i've used tazorac for almost 4 years trying to clear up my cystic acne so i was very skeptical about this product. i am blown away and will be recommending this product to anyone who needs it

I've had blackheads and acne FOREVER and nothing cleared them up except 2 courses of roaccutane when I was younger. I have only been using Acne Stop for one week, and it is like roaccutane in a bottle for my skin (with less irritation). Amazing to watch blackheads and pores just dissappear. I literally looked in the normal mirror and said 'surely not' out loud, before straining to find yesterdays gunk in my special magnifying mirror! Nothing short of a miracle. Does sting a little bit, but that's because it's working. This is seriously awesome stuff! Buy it!

I bought this product on a whim after reading some of the reviews. I am a proactive user, but, for the price of this stuff I figured that it couldn't hurt. The first time I used it, it burned really badly, and I washed it off. After that, my skin has tolerated it well. There is some stinging (which apparently is normal), and some redness which is gone by the next day. The instructions say you can wash it off after 5-10 mins, or leave it on. The first time, I applied it to my chin where I've had blackheads ever since I was 13 or so... over the next few days my skin was really tight on my chin and started to peel lightly. I began to worry, but let me say that this stuff works!! The skin beneath was clear and evenly toned after one use (once the peeling subsided) !! I'm very impressed and definatly recommend this product. Also, after the once use I'd say 50% of the blackheads on my chin were gone. The rest, are much smaller and seem lighter. Buy this stuff if you have stubborn ache!

This product is excellent! For the first time in five years, I have had consistently clear skin. I have tried so many products that would only partially clear my skin, but this has gotten rid of the tough cystic acne that lived on my chin.
I still do, get random pop-up zits, but they're not full blown breakouts. When I feel/see a zit brewing I will dab some Acne Stop on it at night, rest assured that it will have gone down in size by the morning.
